How Powerball numbers work

The Powerball comes from its own 1–26 pool. Power Play and Double Play are not included. Participation depends on the state lottery’s rules.

This page is for Powerball (United States). Main numbers are distinct and displayed in ascending order. Extra numbers are selected independently from their own pool; a value may also appear among the main numbers.
