ROOM FOR CHANCE
Privacy notice
Who is responsible
Vincenzo Lo Palo personally owns and operates Room for Chance and is responsible for its personal-data processing, independently of TV Pater Limited. Use the contact form and select the privacy option for questions or data-rights requests. Public pages require no visitor account.
Contact details and purpose
We collect your name, email, category, message, language and submission time, a random message identifier, and the version and time of your privacy-notice acknowledgement. These are used to handle your enquiry, reply where appropriate and record which notice was presented. The owner can mark messages new, read or closed. Required fields enable this process; without them the form cannot be submitted. Messages are not published, sold, used for marketing or sent to an AI translation service.
Use the form for site enquiries
The form covers general enquiries, technical issues, translation corrections and privacy requests. It is not continuously monitored and is not an emergency or counselling service. Do not send medical details, financial documents, another person's information or other sensitive material. Use the independent country help pages for personal support; contact local emergency services in immediate danger.
Lawful basis and acknowledgement
Ordinary enquiries and abuse prevention are processed on the basis of legitimate interests: responding to a request you initiate and protecting the service, with restricted access and limited retention. You may object. Applicable legal obligations also support handling data-rights requests. The required checkbox records that you have read the notice; it is not the lawful basis for processing and does not waive your rights. Consent for optional storage is a separate choice. We do not profile visitors or make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Access, storage and retention
Messages are stored in the hosted database. Only the owner's authorised account can open the inbox after OpenAI/ChatGPT sign-in and a server-side access check. Infrastructure providers still process data to operate the service. Messages and their acknowledgement records become unavailable after 180 days from submission and are deleted at the next application cleanup, triggered by a configuration request, submission or admin request. The owner may delete them earlier. Provider backups and operational-log retention have not been independently confirmed. Replies through an email provider are also processed by that provider; deleting the database message does not delete mailbox correspondence.
Security and cookie-choice records
Abuse prevention derives a keyed one-way identifier from the connecting IP address and current hour. The application stores this identifier, a counter and expiry, not the raw IP. These records expire about 24 hours after the hourly window and are deleted at the next cleanup. The hosting platform can separately process raw IPs and security logs. Cookie-choice receipts contain a random identifier, Donorbox permission, notice version and choice time; they are not linked by the application to messages, email, accounts or browsing history. They expire after 180 days and are deleted at the next cleanup. The necessary preference cookie lasts 90 days.
Numbers, search and language
Cryptographic number generation and country filtering run in your browser. The application does not send generated numbers to its server, build a gambling profile, detect location or store a language preference. Language and country are selected through links. If you use a supported browser assistant, the selected game and result are returned to that assistant under its own account and conversation settings.
Sharing, links and badges
Gmail and WhatsApp are ordinary outbound links: their scripts, frames and pixels do not load on arrival. Choosing one opens that provider with the proposed message, numbers or page address. You choose the recipient and confirm sending; copying uses the clipboard. The site cannot read your mailbox, contacts or sent messages. External providers and support organisations have their own policies. Our optional website badges contain a link and logo, with no script or tracking pixel; loading the hosted logo requests an image from our hosting service, which may process the visitor's IP. The supplied image code uses no-referrer and does not load this site's cookie manager or contact form.
Donations
No Donorbox campaign is connected and no payment form is loaded. The application collects no card, bank or donor information. If enabled later, the donation notice must explain the provider and processing before use; optional embedded content stays blocked until allowed. Cookie preferences let you withdraw permission. Donations are never required for the generator or help information.
Providers and international processing
OpenAI hosting, Cloudflare infrastructure and the owner's ChatGPT sign-in may process IPs, browser details, request logs and account identifiers and use security or authentication cookies. Processing may occur outside your country. The precise locations, transfer arrangements, provider log retention and complete cookie inventory have not been independently confirmed here; we do not claim UK-only storage or no platform processing. The provider policy links below describe their services. You may ask the owner for clarification through the privacy contact option.
Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, and object to legitimate-interest processing. These rights are subject to legal conditions. Use the privacy option in the contact form with only the details needed to identify your request. Change optional-cookie permissions through the footer at any time; withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. You may complain to the UK's Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) or the competent authority where you live.
Translations and changes
Pages were translated with AI and may contain errors; use the translation-report link to request a correction. A translated page does not mean a helpline provides that language. Verify critical details with the provider. All language versions describe the same service and preserve applicable mandatory rights. Material processing changes will be explained before they begin; the update date and notice version identify this notice.
